Swallows

Moroka Swallows Football Team (often referred to as simply The Birds) is a professional football club headquartered in Soweto, Johannesburg, Gauteng, South Africa.

Swallows, founded in 1947, are one of the original two Soweto clubs, competing in what is known as the Original Soweto Derby with Orlando Pirates.

Swallows won the National First Division in 2019–20 and competed in the South African Premier Division in 2020–21, finishing 6th in their first season back in the top flight and qualifying for the MTN 8 Cup in 2021. Dobsonville Stadium is where they play their home games.
